Hi, I’m O’Jinae
I’m an Austin-based artist whose work blends classical painting techniques with modern Black subjects. Inspired by the Old Masters, I use traditional methods to tell contemporary stories, aiming to bring visibility and joy to people and moments often excluded from art history.
I am a third-year student and drawing instructor at Atelier Dojo, where I study and teach classical drawing techniques grounded in observation and craftsmanship. I also have an educational background in finance and marketing from the University of Washington, which shapes a thoughtful and intentional approach to my creative and professional practice.
